Earth's Own Organic

Q. Why is being certified organic important to you and your business?
At Earth’s Own, we believe in sourcing ingredients from organic farmers because food grown without pesticides is better for the earth, it tastes better and is more nutritionally dense.

Q. What are the most important principles or philosophies that guide your company?
We are passionate about producing great food that is natural and organic, and using ingredients that you can recognize and pronounce. We are also passionate about supporting our Canadian farmers so that means buying what we can from right here in Canada.

Q. What specific questions did you have when learning about organic certification?
How do I get Organic certified if our products are co-packed by other manufacturers? How long does it take to get a new product approved?

Q. If someone you know is thinking of certifying organic, what advice would you give?
Get to know Canadian Standards and Regulations & talk to a certifying body about the process.

Q. Why did you choose PACS as your certifying body?
Earths Own & Happy Planet choose PACS as a certifying body because they are always very helpful with questions and concerns. They provide timely feedback and guidance and are willing to work with us through issues or concerns.
